
25 Sep Last night’s Gala: What an Art Party!
Last night’s Gala at Art Party 2016 was filled with revelers, art aficionados, live performers on eight different stages and walking through the crowds, artists, foodies lining up for the gourmet food trucks, plus hundreds and hundreds of pieces of fascinating and thought-provoking artwork in the broadest pastiche of genres imaginable. The “Alice in Wonderland” theme added just the right amount of whimsy—a lot of it—as a large part of the crowd dressed up in costume for the occasion. It was an unusual mix of Alice-related characters, Steampunkers, art lovers, and just whatever.
