Art is a creative dance between artist and art—each allowing the other to express herself.
About the Artist
I have been an artist all my life. My mother, Suzanne Sable, and father, Pierre Dufayet, were extraordinary artists. Both came to the United States from Paris, France. I was born in Yonkers, New York, and raised in Monterey, California.
I have studied art through private tutorship, various classes and workshops by renowned and accomplished artists. When I was young, I learned cartooning. I went on to do my own stained glass designs, ceramics, fused glass, collage, oil painting and acrylic painting.
My stained glass and oil and acrylic paintings have been featured in various galleries up and down the coast, such as Homescapes, Carmel, Ventana Gallery, Big Sur, Gregory Kate gallery, Santa Clara, Expressions Gallery in Berkeley, California, Los Gatos Museum Art Gallery, and Gallery 85, San Jose, California.
