Artist’s Statement

I refer to my studio as a laboratory. I perform experiments with different materials and varying formats, but the themes of my work remain the same: process, labor, mortality and beauty. I am a student of Zen Buddhism and attempt to live completely in the present, experiencing each moment as fully as possible.
