Artist’s Statement

I use found objects in my work. In my recent body of work I use parts of objects that signify sound, cassette tapes, piano strings, violin cases, etc. Much of my sculpture is site specific. I often build things right onto the wall as installations. 

I am also a photographer and also enjoy creating images of dream scenes, many of which include musical instruments.
