Artist’s Statement

I do not create art to make the rent, put food on my table or keep my wife in fine bourbon and beautiful orchids. I create art to maintain a balance in my life between the things I must do and the things I want to do. I create art to replace one more hour spent in traffic, watching television or working, with one hour spent making a singular thing which has never existed and will never be duplicated. I create art because I can.
