Born and raised in Silicon Valley, I’m a dinosaur who appreciates the one-of-a-kind quality of hand made artwork. I’m inspired by artists like Hopper, Magritte, and Vermeer, but my visual vocabulary owes more to popular culture. I graduated from San Jose State University in 1994 and have since been working as an artist, museum preparator, arts administrator, teacher, and illustrator. I have exhibited nationally and in several San Francisco Bay Area galleries. My current work deals with the paradox of living simultaneously with high technology and with the natural world.
